A Cup of Cheer

Hi Friends and Stampers,

Sadly, this is the last day of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. I am happy to have had a card for each day (and then some!). I usually like to get them made up ahead of time so I can just sit back and hop along, but this was fun too, making them and then going back to see what everyone else has made. So fun!

Today I am using two retired products. Simon Says Cup and Succulents and the paper is from Lil Inkers that has closed the shop last Winter.  When I saw this paper, I knew I was going to hoard it away, so I went ahead and bought a couple packs. So glad I did. It's hard to cut the paper when you know you only have one, lol, and you can't get it again.

I'm not sure succulents grow like the second card, but I want the tops of mine to be purple anyway. love the adorable images. And you know I have had them for a while now, so I'm glad to finally get them inky.

Again, I want to thank Amy and the Coffee Lover's Blog crew for all their hard work and for making this possible for all of us. It could not have come at a better time for me. This brought a lot of joy to my life at this time. I do have other joys but card making had taken a back shelf to cleaning, disinfecting, running around town looking for supplies, and the whole Covid-19 way of life right now. I'm also a RN who is an essential worker. I did get sick this past month and even though the test was negative, I can't remember being this sick ever. I had all the symptoms and most of the co-morbidity's.  My husband is sick as well. Both of us are not fully recovered and it's been a month. But we are on the mend and we are grateful to be here.

Thank you to all the sponsors! We so appreciate your generosity and will not forget you when we are shopping!

Stay well and healthy,

Holly

Warm Wishes

Hi Friends!

One more day to go in this Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.  I had a few days off but it was back to work today for me again. Work seriously interferes with my hobby sometimes, lol. But my other hobby is collecting all the stuff for my first hobby, so it's off to work I go. Now if the bills would just go away, think of the time I could have! lol.

I've had this cute little Waffle Flower stamp set for a while now, so I was so glad to finally get it inky and made onto a card. I saw this cute card design on facebook. I changed a few things and viola, it's my own. Those are Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle dies, I used one of the larger ones for the background, though you cannot really see it, and I used two for the inside panel. I used a My Favorite Thing Circle die-cut on one of the panels, placed the coffee bean table cloth under the cup and then mounted it onto the back panel with pop-dots from Stampin Up. I think they call them dimentionals. Anyway, love how this one came out. If I had to change anything, I would have put the warm wishes up higher and not split between the two panels. Maybe next time.

I'm also Entering this in the Die Cut Divas monthly challenge

Hope you are all having a great time, I can't wait to get back to my commenting, you all have been busy busy busy today.

Stay well and healthy,

Holly

Thanks A Latte

Hi Friends and Stampers,

Like life in quarantine, I have forgotten what day of the blog hop it is, lol.  I hope you are all having as much as I am on this Coffee Lovers Blog Hop adventure. The pandemic had seriously messed with my mojo and I feel it coming back now. So this blog hop has seriously made me a happier person.

Today's card features a Lil Inker's Designs Coffee Stamp Set. Sadly, she closed her shop during the winter. Before she did, she had this great sale with free dies to match the stamps. So I was able to pick up a couple sets and I will continue to use and enjoy them and hope she is doing well on her new ventures. I cannot wait to try this out with other colors.

Have a great time hopping and I even though I am a bit behind on blog hopping and commenting, I will get to each one.

Thank you for stopping by and stay well and healthy,

Holly

Depresso...

Hi Friends,

I have another card for the Coffee Lovers Blog hop. Today I am using the Your Next Stamp set, "Coffee...Right Meow!"  I am also using their Crazy for Coffee paper. This card design is from The Paper Players.  This is from their current sketch challenge.

Very recently I received such a blessing. I would like to thank Deborah Anton. Kindness comes in many forms and I do feel so grateful for hers.

I hope you all have fun creating and hopping along.

Stay Safe and Healthy,

Holly

A Gnome and His Coffee

Hi Friends,

Another card for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. Love this cute little Jessica Lynn Originals digi that she provided us so generously. I saw this great card design on Pinterest, it is from Mary K Shields blog and she provided the measurements so there was no guess work about it.

I hope you are all having fun creating and hopping along.

Be safe and healthy,

Holly

Coffee Chicks

Hi Friends and Coffee Lovers,

I hope everyone is enjoying this time of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.  I was lucky to win this adorable image last Fall. This is Cafe Chickies from Denami Design. The words are from Honey Bee's Perfect Blend stamp set. Love these adorable little images!

While searching for one stamp in particular, I came across several others that have not gotten inky, so now I have quite a few on my desk ready to go, I just need to find more time to make some cards. I am hoping to have one at least for every day of the hop. Then there are the cute digi's that were offered for a discount or free, I would love to get those made into cards as well.  All in good time!

I really appreciate Amy hosting and inviting everyone to play in this hop. It is no small feat to get it all organized and coordinate with all the sponsors. Thank you Amy!

I'm also very grateful to the sponsors. This has been a tough year economically among the pandemic and I know everyone is feeling it in some capacity. So to continue to sponsor during a hardship really makes me grateful and they will have my business for sure!

I hope everyone stays well and healthy,

Holly

Essentials

Hi Friends,

One more card to post the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop tonight. I LOVE this freebie digi image from one of our sponsors, The Cats Pajamas.

I really feel like this image has caught the essence of what we all have been going through while sheltering in place and keeping social distancing. How many of you had to scramble to find toilet paper? I can't believe the shortage that was felt across the country. I have to say that we "usually" have an ample supply. It's one of the things my husband does not like to run short of, so he buys it in bulk. But we were running low when this all hit. So we went from store to store and some of my Facebook friends posted where they found some and then we'd run over to that store. We are so fortunate to be members of Sam's Club who has had Frontline Workers hours on Sunday mornings. I was able to find toilet paper and paper towels every time. A week ago, they even had some Lysol and disinfectant wipes.  I did find some of the good stuff at Von's last Sunday, but it was $10.00! Yikes!

These past couple months have felt more like a treasure hunt than shopping. My friend made me a mask, my mom made us a few masks, we were able to find some hand sanitizer at Target. Just the essentials seemed hard to find. Thankfully pizza was still delivered. And of course you know I stocked up on Coffee! lol.

I hope you are not struggling to find the things you need and I hope you find them at affordable prices.

Stay well and healthy,

Holly

But First, Coffee

Hi Friends,

This is my third card today for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. I just finished her up.  This is the second Anniething Stamp I have posted this week. If you missed the first one, please scroll down. This one is called, "But First, Coffee". I did not use the sentiment that comes with this digi, but I did find one from a retired lil inkers set. The paper is from Your Next Stamp which is one of our sponsors.

I think initially this was a free digi, there are other free digi's on her website that are Covid-19 related.  By the time I saw this, it was no longer free, but it is so cute, I just had to.

I hope you all are having fun blog hopping and creating!

Stay safe and be well,

Holly

Ah, That First Smell of Coffee

Hi Friends,

This is my second post today for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.  I was rummaging through my stash and found this little goodie that I picked up on the last blog hop. This is made by Erin Lee Creative and it's called "Coffee Girl Stamp Set".  Every blog hop I have a little talk with myself about how much I am not going to spend. Unfortunately I like shopping for stamps, paper, and supplies just as much as I do creating. They are really like two separate hobbies now, lol.  I have reached my budget limit already in case anyone was wondering. Let's hope I make it all the way through unscathed, lol. These are some uncertain times, but I try to help out all I can by continuing to purchase from my favorite designers and stores. The little gems on this card are from Pink Fresh Essentials called Crystal Mix. So pretty! And the paper is Flower Market from Carta Bella, so cute!

Okay, I'm off to do more commenting. I hope you all are having fun.

Stay well and healthy,

Holly

No Life Before Caffeine

Hi Friends and Fellow Coffee Lover's,

Today is day 5 of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. I hope you are all having as much fun as I am. This weekend feels like a marathon between making the cards and trying to catch up on the blog hopping and commenting, but I am having so much fun!

I love this Cat's Pajama's image. Such a cute set. They are also sponsoring this blog hop and have provided an adorable free digi image, I am hoping to get that inked up too before this week is over.

Have a great time hopping around!!!

Missing You

Hi Friends,

I picked up this cute free Digi from Stamp Anniethings. It was so nice of them to offer it for free. I made nearly 20 cards and mailed them out with this image. Love these cute little stamps and many others in her shop.

I am so filled with gratitude towards our stamping community. So many designers and stores offering free images to help others out in this pandemic. I know they too are struggling to make ends meet. I really hope those that can will stimulate their companies by making purchases from them. I know I am trying to do my part while on a strict budget. I know so many folks are now out of a job and going through some hard times as well. I pray things turn around quickly and safely for all of us.

Stay well and healthy,

Holly

Graduating From Middle School

Hi Friends,

I made this card for my Grandson Reed. Poor dear is graduating from middle school and is to go into High School this fall. Now whether that's High School from home or actually going in the Fall remains to be seen. We are going to have a little bit of party for him since he is missing out on a graduation ceremony. He's also getting an XBox gift card, so that will make his day.

This was a free digi image from Nola Pierce Chandler. So sweet of her to give away her images during this pandemic. I feel that the stamping community has really rallied around each other to be supportive. I appreciate her kindness so much.

I hope you all have a great day! Stay well and healthy,

Holly

Warm Fuzzies

Hi Friends,

I've got a 3rd card made for today's Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. The coloring actually looks better in person, but this is the best picture I could get with my Iphone. My camera was stolen last year when our home was broken into. Anyway, I am using Gerda Steiner Designs stamp called Warm Fuzzies.  This is one of our Sponsors for this blog hop. I used the rectangle peek-a-boo window from My Favorite Things and cut a bit of a frame out a second time with the teal paper.  The paper is a retired pack from Stampin Up. Just love this cute little bear.

Thank you for looking in on me. Stay well and healthy,

Holly

I Love, I Need...Coffee

Hi Friends,

I made an additional card for today's Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. This time I am using DeNami Designs Stamp Set called Cafe. I was lucky to win this last time for being a super commenter  and I had to think about how I was going to use these cute little images. This cute paper is from Your Next Stamp, it's called Crazy for Coffee, they are one of our sponsors this time around. I used the little doily circle dies from My Favorite Things which are now retired. This might be the second time I've used them, they are so small, but with little images, they are perfect.

I hope everyone is having a great day and that you are all well and healthy.

Holly

Sending a Cup of Love

Happy Memorial Day

Hi Friends and Coffee Lovers,

Day 4 of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  I am behind on my commenting but I am loving blog hopping around and seeing everyone's fabulous creations.

This design kind of went south but I was determined to get some festive colors in there, so I decided to keep it. The cup is from the Hero Arts set, "Cup of Love".

Hope you are all staying well and healthy and have a great day!

Life Happens, Coffee Helps

Hi Stampy Friends,

Welcome to day 3 of the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop.  I hope you are all having a great time making new creations and hopping around to see what everyone else has made.

I don't know why I seem to always make at least two cards every time I sit down to make one. Maybe because I  have to cut it out anyway and I already have everything out to make it. I do belong to a card club and I make 10 of the same when I make those, so it must be a habit to make multiples or duplicates. It does come in handy to have some extra cards though.

Today I am using Honey Bee Stamps called Blah Blah Bunny. I love this cute little bunny who is so over it. After dealing with Covid-19 for a couple months, I can totally relate.  I am also using Honey Bee Stamps Blah, Blah, Blah for the sentiments. The die for the sentiment is a retired die from My Favorite Things, they were dies that looked like tears, but I do not have the original packaging anymore, so the name escapes me. The paper is from my stash, a 6X6 Paper Pad from Fancy Pants Design called Country Boutique. I colored the Bunny and Coffee Mug with my Copic Markers. I paper pieced the rug and fussy cut it out. I added some Brads for design. I still love using brads! They are getting harder to find now, but a few years ago they were all the rage.

Stay well and healthy my friends,

Holly

Floral Mugs

Image may contain: text

Hi Coffee Lovers!

It's day 2 of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. I hope everyone is having a great time!  I know I am going to be out in blogger land checking out everyone's fabulous cards and commenting along.

Today I have a couple of cards that we made in our Stampin Up card club. Just love these cute little floral mugs with their steam rising.

Sadly, these are about to retire, but I think if you get your order in really quick there may be some left! If you need a demonstrator to order from, you can go to my friend Rhonda's website.  Rhonda has been my demonstrator for years and she never disappoints.

It has not been easy coming up with the mojo to do any paper crafting during this pandemic. I think at first it was all about getting my boys out of school ASAP! Then it was the hunting and gathering for masks, food/water, hand sanitizer, cleaning products, and TOILET PAPER! OMGosh who would have ever thought I'd be going from store to store looking for toilet paper? I must confess I am a bit snobbish and picky about my toilet paper. Finding one-ply when I was running out was sheer luck, but the day I scored a pack of Northern was a God send! And yes, I literally praised the Lord over toilet paper right then and there. Most of March and early April I spent studying the news, links, and websites looking for facts about this Novel Carona Virus. A lot of contradictions out there but it is after all, a brand new Virus. I appreciate all the work that went into educating all of us about this so we can make informed decisions. I am a nurse and I am essential, so I have been working....very carefully.  My town just opened up to phase two today, so I am praying we all continue to be safe. Anyway, I moved away from reading and watching so much, and have moved towards what relaxes me and makes me happy - Coffee and Cards!

I hope everyone stays safe and healthy,

Holly

Coffee Girl

Image may contain: text
Hi Friends!

It's that time again, time for the the Spring Summer Coffee Lovers Hop.  I feel less prepared this go around because I only have a couple cards made, but I hope to get some made each day so I can upload all week. If not, I'm happy to have these made in time.

Today I am sharing a couple cards I made with the adorable Coffee Girl Digi from Hambo Stamps. I love seeing the card keep reappearing on facebook with her image.

Here is the one on Facebook. I wished she had a watermark so I give credit to the artist.

I think I have that same paper as well, but I wanted mine to be a little different.....although it's not by much.  As soon as I saw this card, I knew I had to have this image and make one too. Here is the link just in case you need one too!

Speaking of links, if you want to see everyone's fabulous creations or upload one of your own, please join us at the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

Thank you for checking in today and for your kind comments.
