Buttons and Bows

Hi friend and Family,

It's time for a New Challenge over at the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge Blog.  This week we are asking you to show us your buttons and bows.

This week our sponsors are Sponsors are Eureka Stamps & A Random Fan.   On behalf of the design team I would like to thank them for providing our design team with fabulous images!  I decided to use a Random Fan Stamp that is available at the Loves Rubberstamps Store though.  I just love Doctor Autry, she is so cute fixing up that little bear.  And she was a lot of fun to color up.  And of course I added my button with a bow.

Have you seen all the fabulous NEW ITEMS that Laura has added to the store?  She just added some more!  So be sure to go check them out.  I'm so excited about them all!!!

I am looking forward to seeing what you come up with on this challenge.

Somethings Fishy

Hi Friends and Stampers,

It's a Happy Holly-Day, mostly because I'm off today! Whoo Hoo and I have nothing planned but getting inky today!!!! For todays inspiration I thought I'd whip up a little something fishy.

I hope you like my fish bowl as much as I do. I just love this set. I still have a fair fish the kids won last year at the fair on my kitchen counter....grrrr..... how long do they live? lol. I am only used to the ones who live a week or so, lol. I thought I would get some pictures and make some scrap pages using this die as well.
Don't forget to check out all the New Items, Laura has added to the Loves Rubberstamps store. We have a brand new Challenge starting tomarrow but you still have all day to play in our current one.
Thanks for Looking and Checking in on us.

Kimono Marcy

Hello Friends and Stampers,

Happy Holly-Day Monday! Sorry this is so late! I got in late last night from the beach, slept in way too late and my Sister is here visiting. But I wanted to take few minutes to share my Kimono Marci with you. I found this tri-fold card someone had done on Facebook and I knew it would be perfect for my Marci. I cut out the bottom with my Bracket Tab die and the top with the negative from the Faux Crochet Border. And I colored her in with my Copics.

I have had a great birthday weekend and thankfully I am off today to recover and catch up on some shopping and errands. Along with all that laundry! lol. I hope your Monday is fabulous as well. And that you have some time to get inky!!!

Thanks for Looking and Have a great day

Zip Up

Hi Friends and Stampers,

It's time for a New Challenge over at the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge Blog, use material.  Now material covers a lot of different things, so use your imagination and have fun!

I decided I wanted to use the literal sense of the word and used some old Designer Fabric I bought from Stampin Up called Springtime Vintage.  What ever possessed me to buy this fabric I'll never know, I'm not a sewer, lol.  I had a bit of a rough time sewing this evenly, lol.  I glued it onto a piece of pink cardstock and then placed that on a pink cardstock panel.  I love this zipper!  It's the best die ever!  I plan on using this one again, so many possibilites and so much fun.  I could have added a pocket or anything to it, but I wanted to add some little lower case letters.

We have two amazing Sponsors this week,  QKR Stampede & The Doodle Garden.  So that is a triple prize with the store voucher if you win and trust me, you want to win!  Check out the New Items in the store that were just added!  and Remember, you can still hop in our Blog Hop this week til Saturday evening for a chance to win a prize too.

I can't wait to see your fabulous creations!

You Are So Beautiful.....

To Me....

Hello Friends and Stampers,

It's a Happy Holly-Day Monday! I hope everyone is having a good start to the week. It's my turn to show you some Monday Inspiration on the Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Blog.

As soon as I saw the words in the Simply Fabulous Sayings, I could not help but think of the song, "you are so beautiful to me", I like to Joe Cocker version. I also love this set because "Fabulous" is my word these days, lol. I have used these lily dies before and I just love everything about them, so fun to color up. I watched a tutorial and the gal used four pieces of painters tape, two long strips upside down and two on the ends to keep those in place. Then she just placed the Lily pieces onto the tacky side and colored them with her Copic Markers and they stayed in place while she was coloring.....so easy! It was brilliant! Why didn't I think of that? She also popped up her lilies with dementional foam, which I did not do here. This time I colored up the lilies with Y35, R85, R83, and the green bases with YG63 and YG03. These are quick and easy to color up and I really thing they are so beautiful. I also want to mention I used the MFT Ink that is coming to the Loves Rubberstamps Store soon!!!

Laura has added so many Fabulous New Items to the store, you just have to go take a look....there are a few pages of them!!! And don't forget you have one more day to play in our Red, White, & Blue challenge. And there is a New Challenge coming tomorrow! And lastly, you have til Saturday to Blog Hop on our Sunday Sensation Inspiration Blog Hop, for a chance to win a store voucher prize.

Have a great day and I will see you again tomorrow!

A Rose is a Rose

Hi Friends and Stampers,

It's a Holly-Day Monday and I am here to show you some inspiration, for the Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Blog.   My coloring MoJo moved North for the Summer, lol. This card came together very quick and easy, even though it has taken me the better part of the day to assemble it, lol.

I love this rose and overlay die, this is the first time I've used it and I've had it for a little while, lol. I will be using this one again for sure. I think if I really put my mind to it, I could have gotten this one done in less than an hour. Something beautiful does not have to involve hours and hours of coloring to be an effective hand made card. In real life, all the colors match, lol. So much for my photography and editing skills.
I hope you all had a wonderful Holly-Day weekend. We went to the central coast for the weekend and had a great visit with my Dad and Step-Mother. It felt so good to be at the beach again and see fireworks over the ocean. Fabulous! My Dad BBQ'd up some fabulous ribs and chicken. He brought some huge zuccini from home, so I sliced that baby up in disks and breaded and fried it, lol. YUM, it was all so good!
Now it's back to a work week and some routine. I hope you have a great weekend! Be sure to stop by the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge Blog for a New Challenge tomorrow! You still have a day to get your Anything Goes projects in as well today, for a chance to win a prize! You also don't want to miss out on all the fabulous NEW Items Laura has added to the Loves Rubberstamps Store!!!

Thanks for Looking and for your kind Comments,

Holly
