If you've arrived here from Ivonne blog you are right on track! If not, I have posted the whole blog hop list below just in case you get lost along the way!  I have a longgggg post for you, so settle back and drink some coffee and enjoy all the picures.  And for those of you celebrating Easter, Happy Easter!

This is an envelope mini book.  I scraplifted this idea from my S.U. Demo, lol.  She knows, so it's okay. I used 6 Kraft colored envelopes and decorated each side and then put 5 1/4 by 3 1/4 card stock in the envelope with an additional picture and stamped Journal it Top Ten on the other side for some Journal Notes.  I pulled out the card stock from the inside to show you how each one looks on the back.  I haven't started my journaling yet, lol.

So this is the front page.  I applied the designer paper and then the photo, which is of the bride and groom from the wedding I attended last weekend.  I made this for my Sister-In-Law.  Even though Hydrangeas were part of the decor, I decided that Chrysanthemum's from Flourishes would do.  I stamped them on photo paper and colored them with my Copic Markers.  They give a shine without having to wait for Glossy Accents to dry, lol.  I stamped (with Memento Tuxedo Black) Whimsy Stamps - Fanciful Birthday Notables 1 on Kraft paper and cut it out for the center.  I fussy cut the flowers and added them around.

On the inside of the front cover, I placed designer paper on the inside and strip on the top of the envelope fold.  I stamps Whimsey Stamps - Treasured Moments Tickts on to Kraft cardstock with Memento Black Ink.  The ticket says, "Love like you have nothing to lose."  I imagine that pearl of wisdom is given frequently to grooms by their Mom's on the Groom and Mother dance.  I framed the picture in green.  Green and Blue were their wedding colors and even though my Chevron's are smaller, I still thought it would be great to stay with their wedding theme.  The third picture is the inside of the second envelope.  This is the groom running around before the wedding.  I used a MFT Die-namic photo corner and stamped MFT Clearly Sentimental About Romance, it says, "Fate Controls who walks into your life, but you decide who you let walk out, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go."  I used some washi tape above the sentiment and again added a strip of the designer paper on the envelope flap.

Now I pulled out the inside cards to show you the MFT LLD - Instert it - Jouranl it Top Ten.  It comes with a few words and other stamps.  This one says, "cool".  The other side is a picture of the pedicure my Sister In Law treated us to and unfortunately my MFT Die-namics Rounded Banner Trio tab did not show up all the way.  It's so cute, I cut one with kraft and the top layer with the blue polka dot paper.

.  The first pic is my Sister-In-Law with her daughter, my Niece.  I used MFT Photo Corners on opposite sides and framed in black.  I set this over burlap that I cut from the burlap fancy favors they gave out at the wedding with the date stamped on them.  The next picture is a picture of the Aisle.  So pretty, burlap with hydrangeas aligning it and bouquets of Hydrangea's along with pews.  I used one of the dies from MFT Well Worn Greetings stamp and die set and stamped A clearly Sentimental about the Journey phrase on it and used a strip of Chevron designer paper.  The sentiment says, "If life is a journey, then your hand is the only one I want to hold in mine every step of the way."  I added some pearls.  Again on the card stock I stamped Journal it top ten and stamped, "favorites" on top, I added another picture on the other side.

Just before the wedding, there were many many pictures taken  by the photographer.  This is a pic I snapped with my Iphone as the bride, groom and Sister were leaving the alter.  I added a La La Land Heart Banner Die and put pearls on each side, below I stamped, MFT Clearly Sentimental about Aubrey Hepburn, it says, "The best thing to hold onto in life is Each Other".  On the next page I used La La Land photo corners and on the flap I cut out a Die-namic LLD - Story Starters - it says, "Best Day Ever."  And I stamped above that - Clearly Sentimental About Family - it says, "Every Family has a story."

Again I used the MFT's Photo Corners Die-namics and I stamped, "Love being yourself" from Clearly Sentimental about Audrey Hepburn.  This is my son with his other cousins and he loves to play video games with Aric, who is quite the young man.  While other early 20 somethings would have less than nothing to do with a ten year old, Aric kept my Jeep very entertained and made sure he had fun.  And when he didn't, Brianna was right there to step in.  These two are amazing and so good to Jeep.  I found a sentiment from Clearly Sentimental about Sympathy that says, "Remember that I love and care about you."  Because I truly believe they do.  I used the Story Starters Die-namic again.

Almost there.... lol.   This is my Husband, myself and our son and peeking in is my Sister In Law, lol.   I added some MFT Photo Corner Die-namics Isn't it amazing how many photo corners from one die I used and I didn't even use them all.  I love these dies!  On top of those, I added some Keys and Locks Die-Namics and stamped from MFT Pearls of Wisdom - "Life is not about finding yourself, Life is about creating yourself."  On the last photo, I matted with white and die cut Die-namic Crown Border for each side of the photo.  On the flap I stamp MFT Big Greetings, "You've had a big impact on my life."  Which I thought was perfect for this trio of siblings.

On the back cover, I stamped the Moorehead Marriage couple.  I found a prisma coloring tutorial on the MFT website and used the same technique and colors.

Yeah, you made it and if you didn't read all that, it's really okay, lol.  Now Laura does not have all of these stamps listed in her store, but if you saw something you cannot live without, simply send her an email and she will let you know when she can get that for you.  Instead of listing each individual thing, I am linking here by the categories, lol.   I also want to mention that I am a collector and it has taken me months and months and months to collect all these stamps and toys. lol.

MFT Die-namics
MFT Clearly Sentimental
MFT LLD - Journal it
La La Land dies
Whimsy Stamps
Memento Black Ink
Copic Markers
Flourishes
Best Glue Ever
Mooreheads

I am the last stop in the hop today, Thank you so much for playing along in our hop today! Be sure to stop back by the Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Blog and let us know what you thought!

I am a slow crafter, so this one took me a couple days to do, but I think my Sister In Law is going to love it.  As we were browsing through old photo's she was saying that now that we are taking digi pictures, we are going to miss out on having something to hold onto.  So this is something she can hold onto. lol.

Thanks Y'all

Happy Holly-Day Friday, and Thanks Y'all for baring with me and still commenting and looking during a rushed time in my life.   Today is my day for the Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Post.  I want to remind you that if you leave a comment on the Sunday Post, you could win a prize.  That's right, just for commenting!  How cool is that?  And even though yours truly did not get a project up for the Challenge this week, The Loves Rubberstamps Challenge is Easter!  There is still plenty of time to get your projects uploaded for a chance to win a prize!  Yeah.

Today I am using the following products on my card:

MFT ALM Cowgirl at Heart
MFT Die-namics Country Charms

MFT Die-namics Western Star Border Duo
MFT Die-namics First Place Award
MFT Die-namics Circle Stax Set one and two
Memento Tuxedo Black
Copic Markers
Best Glue Ever

The A La Mode - Cowgirl at Heart is so cute and was so easy to color.  I need to put this paper away for a while, but I just find it so perfect for my Cow-Folks, lol.  It's Sasparilla from October Afternoon.  How do you like that Western Star Border?  I love it.  And those Country Charms, (horse shoe) have come in handy with all my Western stamps.  I find I am using them a lot.  They just add the perfect finishing touches with the horse shoe, star, cowboy boot and hat.  The trick for me is to not use all of them on one card, lol.   I shortened the first place award banner by cutting it out, figuring out how much room I needed for stamping and then moving it over in the die and recutting.  So easy and fun.

So most of you know I just got back from Florida.  Wow, what a whirlwind trip!  We took a red eye out of LAX and can I tell you, it's not possible for most of us to sleep on a red-eye.  Flying freaks me out anyway, so I am like totally awake and waiting for the Captain to tell me to brace myself for some kind of emergency, lol.   There was a delay in our flight by almost an hour, so we were so ready to get on the plane and just get there.  Lots of turbulence, but not the worst I've felt.  Just enough to jolt my husband awake when he would start to snooze.  I borrowed his Kendall and had him download a Patricia Cornwell on it for me.  One of her Dr. Scarpetta novels.  OMGosh I LOVE all of them and could read them over and over.  And who knew that I would love the Kendall?  I see one in my future soon, lol.  So I read all the way and at any given opportunity I had while we were away.  It fits so nice in my purse, lol.

Okay so we landed at about 6 something, got our luggage, was shuttled to our rental car, and the first priority was Starbucks coffee.  We drove to my Sister In Laws and promptly took a 3 hour nap.  From there I was treated to a pedicure and lunch.  We checked in to our Motel and got dressed for rehearsal dinner.  The decor was burlap and hydrangea's and green and blue and Chevron's.  So beautiful!  And you better believe we were ready for sleep that night, lol.   The wedding was beautiful.  Followed by a cupcake reception, followed by a formal reception.  My youngest son danced nearly every dance.  By himself.  Just living it up.  His cousin, Aric, who is in his early twenties, did a lot of fabulous dancing and danced with my son as well.  Some of it so comical my stomach ached. Sunday and Monday we had family time and my husband was so happy to be with  his Sisters and just catch up on some lost time together.  We flew home Monday night and got in just after midnight.

I am so fortunate to have had this week off for Spring break with my son.  It's taken me all week to recover, lol.  Plus I have spring fever and have been cleaning all those things I've been procrastinating.  We cut the dog yesterday, lol.

I hope you are having a great week and have some fun weekend plans.  Thanks for Looking and for your kind Comments.

Adele takes a stroll

Hello and welcome to the reminder post for All That Scraps - Anything Goes!  Have you had a chance to play yet?  If not, you will want to grab your favorite CC design stamp or image and play along with us for a chance to win some fabulous prizes!

I wanted to play with this Tuesday Morning sketch a while back but did not have time to use it.  It stayed in the back of my mind for a while now, so I decided this was the perfect opportunity to use it.  Design to color has a monthly challenge to show us your hexagons, so what could be more perfect.

My camera and Picasa did not get along.  The color of her dress matches the color of the flourish but I could not convince either one of them to cooperate with me, lol.  You just have to take my word for it.  My hexagons are a die from MFT's.  I used the reverse on the top layer.  I used the cute little Adele, I loved all these gardening images when they came out last summer and am so glad I can finally get them inky now.

I hope to see your fabulous creations soon!

For the Love of Chocolate

Hello and Happy Tuesday!

Time for a new Loves Rubberstamps Challenge!  The theme this week is "for the love of Chocolate."  I thought about my cute little P.I. girl - box of love, right away.  Here are the other items I used on my card:
Dienamics cicle stax 2
Dienamics dizzy doily 2
Dienamic first place award ribbon
Memento black
best glue ever
Copic Markers

She was a lot of fun to make.  I found an embossing plate that had the squares of them that reminded me of a Chocolate bar. I love pink and brown together.  I also love a good box of Chocolates!  lol.  I'm also using a sketch from the MFT's challenge MFTWSC40, it's one of the ones I missed, but it was so perfect for her.

Please stop by and see my fellow Design Team members blogs, they all have some fabulous eye candy to get you inspired for this challenge.

Birthday Girl

Happy Holly-Day Friday!

It's my turn to post of the Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Blog.  Today I am using the Cute Birthday Girl P.I. from MFT's.  I stamped her with Memento Black ink, I colored her with my Copic markers and used The best glue ever!  I also used some papers from my stash!!!  Yeah.  I kept with our Challenge this week of using green on my project, have you had a chance to play?

What are your plans this weekend?  Are you headed out of town for anything fun?  I am.  I'm headed to Northern Cali for some birthday fun.  My Dad is turning 75 and his wife has planned a huge birthday party for him.  So I am kinda in the party mood, even though he won't be getting this card for his birthday, lol.  Whatever your plans are, have fun and I hope you have some crafting time in there.

Bufly Bree

Hello Stampers and Bloggers,

The new All That Scraps Challenge is anything goes!  Whoo Hooo, we love that one!  So grab your favorite CC design stamp and join us in the fun.  I am using the newly released Bufly Bree today.  These are the cutest little stamps and so fun to color!  I found Karen's biweekly sketch and decided it was perfect for my little Bree.

I colored her with my copics and used some MME paper I bought a while back - yeah still using my stash!  Although I did buy some paper recently and asked the LSS to carry some of the newer Echo Park, lol.   I know, I am hopeless, lol.

So it's Wednesday and I feel like I might just make it to the weekend this time, lol.  I swear I am living for those weekends off now, lol.  What are your plans this weekend?  Are you making  anything fun?  I hope so.

Thanks for Looking and for your kind Comments!

Coffee Break

Hello,

I don't know about you but next to time to get off work, coffee break is my next best time, lol.  It's time for a new Loves Rubberstamps Challenge.  This week it's all about St. Patrick's Day or use Green.  We are sponsored by The Paper Shelter this week.  I would like to thank TPS for giving the DT some wonderful samples to use.  And I say samples because this one comes with a precolored image as well, which is what I am using.  Yes, complete with background.  I did stamp the sentiment from Clearly Sentimental about Coffee in Memento Black in the label.  I also used medium scallops - die-namics and leaf filled flourish - die-namics.  I am not sure what happened there to that leaf but I did try to shorten it, and it did look better but then it slipped a little when it was wet with glue and well then, there you have it.  lol.  A bow might have fixed it but when I tried a couple of them out, it just looked all wrong, lol.

This is the first time I  have used a precolored image and I have to tell you, I could get used to being spoiled, lol.  Not all the time of course, but you know, once in a while is great.  Especially when they are adorable like this one!

Have you been by the store lately to see all the new items added to the store.  I swear I miss stuff if I don't check every single day, lol.  I love it all!  Laura has added Copic markers in great collections that blend together.  I wished I would have bought my Copic markers like this instead of all random.  If you are just now starting your collection or adding to your collection, be sure to stop by and see the one's she has listed.

I hope to see your fabulous creations in this weeks Challenge, I will be looking for them!

Thanks for Looking and for your kind Comments!

Play Ball

Hello and welcome to another Challenge over at Sparkle Creations Rubberstamps.  This time we have a fabulous sketch challenge.  I hope you will grab your favorite Sparkle Creations stamp and join along in the fun!  I am using Baseball Oliver and he comes with the sentiment - play ball.  (Oh and he is also on sale!) I colored him up with my copic markers and use my airbrush for the background coloring.

I don't know about you but I am forever searching for a cute boy image to use on cards for my son's friends and for future scrap booking for my son and grandson.  But if you are like me, you will not want to miss the New Release coming later this week....shhhh, that's all I'm going to say about that, lol.

Speaking of my youngest son, you are not going to believe this.  I came home from work Thursday night after a long week at work and I asked him how his day was.  He told me, oh you know, it was 50/50.  So I sat down and asked him what happened at school.  He told me he tried to glue his cheek to the seat.  I said, "You did WHAT?"  He said, "I tried to glue my cheek to the seat."  So I asked, "Why?"  He said, "I dunno."  He just basically thought it was a good idea at the time and wanted to see if he could do it.  Thankfully they were using paste.  So me being the ex ER nurse that I am, launched into this whole case scenario where the fire department would have to come in and break up the chair until all that was left was the piece that was stuck to his face.  Then I went on to say he would have to go to the ER and get an IV started so they could take him to surgery to remove the seat and then there would be the skin grafting and staying in all summer to avoid light exposure to his face.  lol.  You would not believe how wide those big brown eyes can get, lol.  But I think I might have gotten through to him after all that. lol.

I hope your week is going well and that you can join us.

Thanks for Looking and for your kind Comments.

P.S. - head on over to see how my team mates used this fabulous sketch as well.

Got Peeps?

Hello and Welcome to Holly-Day Friday Inspiration Post over at Loves Rubberstamps!

Today I am featuring the little Pure-Innocents "one of my favorite Peeps" by MFT.  I love this adorable image.  I am also using the new Dienamic Woven Basket dies - the peep and the ribbon.  I stamped her in Memento Ink and colored her with my Copic Markers, as well as paper pieced her dress.  I also used the Fishtail Flag Stax Die-namics 1 and 2, and die-namic circle 1 and 2.

Today is my daughters birthday, she is 28!  Wow, I feel old now, lol.   All these cute images remind me of her no matter what they are doing.  She adorable when she was little with long brown hair that she tossed around and an outfit for every occasion.  Now she has short brown hair and an outfit for every occasion, lol.   The first time I gave her peeps, she took a bite and then right out it came.  Not what she had in mind, lol.   None of us actually like to eat Peeps, we just like how cute they are, lol.

I hope your Friday is fabulous!  Don't forget to play in our Challenge this week!  It's Anything Goes!

Paper Pierced Gerdie

Hello and welcome to my reminder post for the All That Scraps Challenge - Paper piecing.  This is Gerdie.  She was from last July's collection but I am just now getting a change to ink her up.  OMGosh she was so much fun to color and paper peice.  I also found this awesome sketch from Design to color and wanted to play along.

I have been working non stop and everything seems to be piling up on me, so I promise I will get around to commenting on all your blogs, just a super busy month for me this year.

Thanks for Looking and for your kind comments.

Morehead Marriage

Hello and Welcome to Another Weekly Challenge over at Loves Rubberstamps

This week is another easy peasy, Anything Goes!  I love this one and I am so glad it's a once a month occurrence.  I do like a good challenge, but once a month I look forward to delving into my own creative juices.  Have you seen the Morehead collection over at Loves Rubberstamps?  OMGosh you are going to freak out, these are the cutest images.  I love their big heads and the cute expressions on their faces.  Adorable.  My goodies came in the mail yesterday and Morehead Marriage was one of the things I had ordered.  Of course I inked them up in Memento Black Ink.  How timely that I was just notified the day before yesterday that one of my favorite peeps at the LSS is getting married and having a shower tonight.  So I whipped up this card this morning.  I wish the Spica glitter showed up in my picture, but it didn't.  Her veil, and the lace and the ribbon all have a slight shimmer to them.

I cut the half circle with my MFT's circle dies and used a Royal mini rose die-namic and die-namic Royal leaves.  My flower was made from a scrap I  had left over from the Love Story collection.  The background paper is from Fancy Pants Design, called Country Boutique.  I love this paper!  I am so excited that Laura got the McGill paper blossom tool kit in the store!!!  It's so great and easy to use.  I used the same technique I learned on the video tutorial from Donna Salazar - check it out. Of course most people find it easier to use a roller, than to roll by hand.  Either way, this technique works so well with these mini rose die-namics.  And I love my Best Glue Ever for holding these flowers in place and glued down.  I found this great sketch from The Sweet Shop.  I'm too late to enter, but loved it enough to use it.

Have you been leaving your comments on the Inspiration Sunday posts?  You can win prizes in addition to the Challenge Blog!  While you are there, make sure you leave some love for my fellow Design Team members!

Thanks so much for Looking and for your kind Comments!
