Farmer Girl
Hello Everyone,
It's a Happy Holly-Day Friday for me, I am off for the weekend and I am so looking forward to some quiet crafty time. Today I am using the the adorable MFT P.I. Farmer Girl. When I first saw this image, I thought of a country fair. The hay bale, two sentiments, a chicken, a chick and a pig image comes with her and I jsut love them all, they are adorable. I am using my Echo Park - A perfect Summer 6X6 papers. I love the air balloons in the background and the primary colors. The chicken wire is a new Die-Namic and oh boy, I have so many plans for this one! I am also using Die-namic Mini Tabs Quartet. I cut out a tab and then repositioned it over the edge and re cut it to make it shorter. I airbrushed the background with my Copic Markers and colored her up with my Copics as well. I inked her up with Memento Tuxedo Black and the paper is Copic X-press.
All of these cute P.I. girls remind me of my daughter when she was little. She always had to have the perfect outfit for each occasion and her hair just so. She was a girls girl. Very quiet and shy and giggly. I remember the neighbor asking me if I curled her hair everyday because the bottom of her hair curled up so perfectly. No, it was natural, but it was a lot of work to keep it long and tangle free, lol. But she was every Mom's dream of a little girl.
I hope you have time this weekend to do something you love.

Glitter Challenge Reminder
Hello Friends and Stampers,
This is for the All That Scraps Challenge Reminder Post - show us your Glitter. I just read that All That Scraps is going to be changing their name to CC Design Rubber Stamps. They have all kinds of great changes in the near future. Unfortunately they will not be continuing the Challenge Blog, so this is my last card design for them.
When I first read the Glitter Challenge, I wracked my brain to come up with something extra glittery. Last week I applied glitter to my house on a hill CC Cutter. This week, I am using Brigitta with a Popsicle. I colored her with my Copic Markers, fussy cut her out, cut out an oval in white paper that fit my frame, and airbrushed the background. The Oval die and shell die are from MFT Die-namics. I had a little flip flop punch from EK success and I punched out a couple pink and a couple in hot pink. I used the top portion in hot pink to match my card stock and applied a bead of glossy accents and then sprinkled some dazzling diamonds glitter over the top. I also used Glossy Accents and glitter on the Popsicle and Brigitta's flip flops. I forgot how much better I like using the Glossy Accents rather than glue with Glitter. It keep the glitter on your project much better, lol. The frame is a Spellbinder and I sponged around that and the shell with Memento Desert Sand.
I hope you will play along with our Challenge.
If you decide to play with us here's what you need to know:

Just Relax
Happy Holly-Day! Friends and Stampers,
It's my day to inspire you over at the Loves Rubberstamps Inpiration Blog.
It's time to, "Just Relax" with this cute new Pure Innocence called Serenity. I love this one!
I have to admit, I do not get enough meditation time. There is very little time in my life where I get a few moments alone, but sometimes in mass chaos at work or home, I can close my eyes and meditate for just a moment and it seems to help. There is nothing better than clearing your mind of all the muddle before it refills again, lol.
I colored her up with my Copic Markers and used a few Die-namics - Pretty Posies, Fishtail Flag Stax, Fishtail Flag Layers Stax, Circle Stax, Decorative Doily. I used La La Land Large Flourish for the leaves, And I used some MME designer paper, and The Best Glue Ever!
I know some of you are waiting for an email back from Laura, and she will definitely answer back all her emails and add our Challenge Linky as soon as she can. She is very dedicated to her family situation right now, so please be patient and you will hear from her soon.
Thank you for checking in with us today, I hope I've been able to inspire you.

The Princess and the Frog
Hello Friends and Stampers,
It's time for a new challenge over at the All That Scraps Challenge Blog. This time we want to see your glitter. I am using the new adorable, "Princess and the Frog" stamp. I also used and glittered up my, "House on a Hill" CC Cutters die. I colored with my Copic Markers and used MME Cambridge Court 6X6 paper pad, along with my Die-namic Crown border.
I just love the Princess and the Frog story. I don't know about you, but I had to kiss a lot of toads before I found my Prince! lol. It's so true though. How about you? You been there, done that too?
I just want to clarify something because there have been some rumors and questions going around. This is my last month on the Challenge Design Team for All That Scraps. I have had a great year with them and I love all their cute and adorable stamps. So I will continue using them in the future. ATS has some exciting changes coming very soon, so you do not want to miss it! You can check out their Design Team Blog for all the latest happenings.
I just love Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketches! She has a new sketch every other Sunday and that is so perfect for me and my sketching needs. It's not always possible for me to play along with weekly sketches, so this works! I hope you can check out her new sketch this Sunday and play along.
I hope you can join us for this "Glitter" Challenge, I cannot wait to see what you make.
If you decide to play with us here's what you need to know:
- Your project must use a C.C. Designs stamp, including - AmyR, Drozy's Darlings, Mashi's Muffins, Sweet November, Lil Lads & Lolitas & Webbie's Words. It will be deleted if not.

La La
Land - Lily of the Valley Die
Hi Friends and Stampers,
It's time for a new challenge over at the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge Blog. This week is anything goes! Whoo Hoo! I've had these cute little Art Impressions sitting on my desk for a few weeks just waiting to get inky. I knew about what I wanted to do, but finding time these days is proving to be a challenge in itself. I am glad I did take the time though. It's a bit of two cards in one, but I really like the final outcome. And no, her arm is not lined up correctly on the inside, but I didn't figure anyone would really notice all that much, lol. And I didn't want to retry aligning it again, lol. I'm terrible I know, lol. Laura will be adding more Art Impressions to the store soon, in the meantime, if there is anything you want to get, make sure you send her an email, (Lovesrubberstamps@yahoo.com). Have you had a chance to check the NEW ITEMS? And you don't want to miss out on the Sunday Blog Hop, you have til Saturday to leave your comments to be eligible to win a prize!
I don't know if you all know this, but Laura has really been going through a lot family wise. She works two jobs, takes care of her family, has her Grandmother staying with her so she can care for her just out of the hospital, and she runs her blogs and her store with a passion. I think I can speak for the whole design team when I say she is wonderful to be a designer for. Because she genuinely wants to please everyone and do everything for everyone. It's very hard for her to accept help and even harder to ask for it. If she has to make changes, she really puts her personal touch on it and let's us all know ahead of time. I know there are a lot of store owners who don't associate with the design teams and even less with their customers, but Laura is the polar opposite. I hope just knowing you are buying from such a sweet person, who has a passion for stamping and making our hobby a happy one will make you want to join in our challenges and shop in her store.
We are on week three of Archie Bunker. Although he is finally ours, we are still working out the newness and some of the rules. I will say, he is quick to catch on and wants to do what I tell him despite his ornery side that wants his way, lol. He can practically jump into my arms and gives it a collage try every time I come home from work. He is so excited to see me and the family! He still is not crazy about his little cage but he will be talked into it as long as there is a treat, lol. The other dogs are starting to warm up to him a little bit more and they keep retesting the pack rules, lol. My little Jeep is crazy about that dog, just loves him and all his silly little antics. So getting Archy Bunker turned out to be a very good thing for us.
Jeep finished the 4th grade with a very decent report card and has started back to day care for the summer. I did give him the option of staying home with me on my days off, but apparently there are some exciting things going on down there that he doesn't want to miss out on. I love that! I'm hoping to be able to take him and Reed somewhere fun this summer. I just need more.....time.....and..... money! Story of the world I know.
Thanks for Looking and for your Kind comments.
