Hi Friends and Stampers,
It's time for a new challenge over at the
Loves Rubberstamps Challenge Blog. This week is anything goes! Whoo Hoo! I've had these cute little Art Impressions sitting on my desk for a few weeks just waiting to get inky. I knew about what I wanted to do, but finding time these days is proving to be a challenge in itself. I am glad I did take the time though. It's a bit of two cards in one, but I really like the final outcome. And no, her arm is not lined up correctly on the inside, but I didn't figure anyone would really notice all that much, lol. And I didn't want to retry aligning it again, lol. I'm terrible I know, lol. Laura will be adding more Art Impressions to the store soon, in the meantime, if there is anything you want to get, make sure you send her an email, (
Lovesrubberstamps@yahoo.com). Have you had a chance to check the
NEW ITEMS? And you don't want to miss out on the
Sunday Blog Hop, you have til Saturday to leave your comments to be eligible to win a prize!
I don't know if you all know this, but Laura has really been going through a lot family wise. She works two jobs, takes care of her family, has her Grandmother staying with her so she can care for her just out of the hospital, and she runs her blogs and her store with a passion. I think I can speak for the whole design team when I say she is wonderful to be a designer for. Because she genuinely wants to please everyone and do everything for everyone. It's very hard for her to accept help and even harder to ask for it. If she has to make changes, she really puts her personal touch on it and let's us all know ahead of time. I know there are a lot of store owners who don't associate with the design teams and even less with their customers, but Laura is the polar opposite. I hope just knowing you are buying from such a sweet person, who has a passion for stamping and making our hobby a happy one will make you want to join in our challenges and shop in her store.
We are on week three of Archie Bunker. Although he is finally ours, we are still working out the newness and some of the rules. I will say, he is quick to catch on and wants to do what I tell him despite his ornery side that wants his way, lol. He can practically jump into my arms and gives it a collage try every time I come home from work. He is so excited to see me and the family! He still is not crazy about his little cage but he will be talked into it as long as there is a treat, lol. The other dogs are starting to warm up to him a little bit more and they keep retesting the pack rules, lol. My little Jeep is crazy about that dog, just loves him and all his silly little antics. So getting Archy Bunker turned out to be a very good thing for us.
Jeep finished the 4th grade with a very decent report card and has started back to day care for the summer. I did give him the option of staying home with me on my days off, but apparently there are some exciting things going on down there that he doesn't want to miss out on. I love that! I'm hoping to be able to take him and Reed somewhere fun this summer. I just need more.....time.....and..... money! Story of the world I know.
Thanks for Looking and for your Kind comments.
