Let's Get Krafty

Happy Tuesday and Welcome to a new Challenge for Loves Rubberstamps.  This week we are sponsored by Eureka Stamps.   I would like to thank Eureka Stamps for providing the Design Team with their fabulous Digital Stamps!  They even let me pick out my own tree.  The Challenge this week is to use Kraft Card stock and another Color.  I interpreted that as another card stock color and then I used designer paper, lol.  So Let's Get Krafty

I love Kraft and had no problems using this color.  I love how it well it works as a neutral for most other colors.  I started out with this fabulous tree from Eureka.  After coloring it up with my Copic Markers, I stamped Christmas Elf Luka with my Memento Black Ink on a separate sheet of paper made to work with Alcohol Markers.  I colored Christmas Elf Luka up and fussy cut him out.  I added some Glitter to his hat and glued him down with The Best Glue Ever.  Which is a great glue because it won't cause your paper to warp or wrinkle.  I added a strip of MME Winter Wonderland.  Loved that there was a sheet with matching presents.  And I stamped the sentiment that came with my Christmas Elf Luka.  These come laser cut with the sentiments attached, but the first thing I do is cut out the sentiments, lol.   I added some brads I had in my stash and sat back and looked.  I decided that I was definitely not thrilled.

Have you ever had those times of no mojo?  Stuff in your life happening and it interrupts the creative juices from flowing in your brain?  Well I've been there for a couple weeks now.  My coloring is not as great, my designs are not as sharp and clean as I usually like them to be.  So what to do?  Add a ton of stickles!  I stickled up my Angel, the candles, the trim, lol.   It definitely helped the situation.  I had been by my favorite blogs, blogged hopped, looked into some tutorials....anything I can to shake the funk.  What do you do to get your mojo back?

Anyhoo, I cannot wait to see what color you add to your Kraft Card Stock and your fabulous design... it will help me! lol.

This is beautiful - your coloring is amazing!! ;) My mojo has been gone since last week and my list is so long. I think I jinxed myself thinking I'd get all my DT work done last week.

LOL! Yes, stickles makes everything look better! I know what you mean about your mojo taking a time out, especially this time of year. I think our brains are numbed by sensory overload. What helps me is to walk away from the projects and blog hopping. I read, work puzzles, go to the beach, anything but crafting. Usually in a couple of days, I can ease back into crafting and viewing others wonderful creations. Hope your mojo finds its way back home! Hugs, T.

Holly, This is gorgeous. What are you talking about? Yeah, I was just there. Then I got an Email asking to join the GDT at Loves and I was happy to craft again. If that hadn't happened, I would have gone shopping for some new images or supplies and that always does the trick for me, lol.
Hugs, Dangina

I would never guess your mojo was lacking... this is adorable! Love how you've used these images together! Unfortunately, I like to shop when my mojo disappears! Something new to play with usually brings it back!

Cute, cute, cute. I enlarged your photo to see all the glitter and it was awesome. I love the angel. Your coloring is fabulous, too.

I lost my mojo a month or two ago, probably for the first time. But, somehow it just returned one day and I was so glad. Just a mood I was in, I suppose...and a lot going on. Been doing a lot of remodeling and that was my main concern at the time.

Beautiful Christmas card! Lots of details and I love it! My mojo comes and goes too but that's why I love being part of team with so much inspiration! It definitely helps! :)
