Girl with a Rose
Happy Holly-Day Friday!
It's my turn to post over at the Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Post. This week we are sponsored by Birdie Brown and our Challenge is lots of layers. So I decided to keep with the Challenge theme and use another wonderful Birdie Brown Image called - Girl with a Rose. I love this weeks sketch from Seems a little Sketchy, and so I used some paper I had laying around and got started on my layers.
I used:
MFT - circle dies, crocheted border, Roses, and Leaves.
How do you like those rolled felt roses? I glued them down with The Best Glue Ever! I could not find my hot glue gun to save my life, lol.
I love this cute little image!!! She was so fun to color and I think I am starting to like using digi's because I was thinking about the size and then I remembered I could make her any size I wanted, lol.
What are your weekend plans? I have to work Sunday but I am off tomorrow and I think I will try to pack in the whole weekends worth of stuff into one day, lol.
Thanks for Looking and for your kind Comments.
Holly

This is absolutely adorable Holly! I love your gorgeous felt flowers and your coloring is so pretty as always! Now I know your desk is like mine...so... check under the 3rd pile on the right...that is usually where my glue gun ends up - LOL!! I hope you enjoy your day off tomorrow!
Sweet card!
This is so sweet, Holly! Love the felt flowers!

Oh my, how cute, Holly! Gorgeous use of papers and roses!
Absolutely love your take on the sketch. The papers are great, the image is adorable, your coloring is fantastic, and your embellishments are fab! I've done hundreds of the rolled roses, but never out of felt...must go to the fabric store soon!
Sorry you have to work one day this weekend. My plans are to try to finish our tax returns! UGH!!!
Very cute!

This is one of my favorite Birdie Brown images, and your card using her is beautiful! Love your rolled roses! Mine always come out looking a mess. I need to take some lessons from you!
Love this image. The rose is almost as big as the little girl carrying it.
Your rolled roses are so pretty. I got out my hot glue gun recently just for sticking on my rolled roses. Hope you find yours soon.
Gorgeous image and card!!! Thanks for joining us at SALS and using our sketch! HUgsxx
