Thanks Y'all

Happy Holly-Day Friday, and Thanks Y'all for baring with me and still commenting and looking during a rushed time in my life.   Today is my day for the Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Post.  I want to remind you that if you leave a comment on the Sunday Post, you could win a prize.  That's right, just for commenting!  How cool is that?  And even though yours truly did not get a project up for the Challenge this week, The Loves Rubberstamps Challenge is Easter!  There is still plenty of time to get your projects uploaded for a chance to win a prize!  Yeah.

Today I am using the following products on my card:

MFT ALM Cowgirl at Heart
MFT Die-namics Country Charms

MFT Die-namics Western Star Border Duo
MFT Die-namics First Place Award
MFT Die-namics Circle Stax Set one and two
Memento Tuxedo Black
Copic Markers
Best Glue Ever

The A La Mode - Cowgirl at Heart is so cute and was so easy to color.  I need to put this paper away for a while, but I just find it so perfect for my Cow-Folks, lol.  It's Sasparilla from October Afternoon.  How do you like that Western Star Border?  I love it.  And those Country Charms, (horse shoe) have come in handy with all my Western stamps.  I find I am using them a lot.  They just add the perfect finishing touches with the horse shoe, star, cowboy boot and hat.  The trick for me is to not use all of them on one card, lol.   I shortened the first place award banner by cutting it out, figuring out how much room I needed for stamping and then moving it over in the die and recutting.  So easy and fun.

So most of you know I just got back from Florida.  Wow, what a whirlwind trip!  We took a red eye out of LAX and can I tell you, it's not possible for most of us to sleep on a red-eye.  Flying freaks me out anyway, so I am like totally awake and waiting for the Captain to tell me to brace myself for some kind of emergency, lol.   There was a delay in our flight by almost an hour, so we were so ready to get on the plane and just get there.  Lots of turbulence, but not the worst I've felt.  Just enough to jolt my husband awake when he would start to snooze.  I borrowed his Kendall and had him download a Patricia Cornwell on it for me.  One of her Dr. Scarpetta novels.  OMGosh I LOVE all of them and could read them over and over.  And who knew that I would love the Kendall?  I see one in my future soon, lol.  So I read all the way and at any given opportunity I had while we were away.  It fits so nice in my purse, lol.

Okay so we landed at about 6 something, got our luggage, was shuttled to our rental car, and the first priority was Starbucks coffee.  We drove to my Sister In Laws and promptly took a 3 hour nap.  From there I was treated to a pedicure and lunch.  We checked in to our Motel and got dressed for rehearsal dinner.  The decor was burlap and hydrangea's and green and blue and Chevron's.  So beautiful!  And you better believe we were ready for sleep that night, lol.   The wedding was beautiful.  Followed by a cupcake reception, followed by a formal reception.  My youngest son danced nearly every dance.  By himself.  Just living it up.  His cousin, Aric, who is in his early twenties, did a lot of fabulous dancing and danced with my son as well.  Some of it so comical my stomach ached. Sunday and Monday we had family time and my husband was so happy to be with  his Sisters and just catch up on some lost time together.  We flew home Monday night and got in just after midnight.

I am so fortunate to have had this week off for Spring break with my son.  It's taken me all week to recover, lol.  Plus I have spring fever and have been cleaning all those things I've been procrastinating.  We cut the dog yesterday, lol.

I hope you are having a great week and have some fun weekend plans.  Thanks for Looking and for your kind Comments.

(Sorry couldn't spell - they need an edit function - LOL!) Sounds like you had a busy but fun trip! I have the Patricia Cornwall books on my list to read! Right now I am reading the newest Tess Gerritsen book in her Jane Rizzoli & Maura Isles series - Last to Die. I love her books :) Problem is I can't stop reading once I start - I have to see what happens next - LOL! Your card is so adorable and I love your color scheme! The denim and red is perfect for that cute cowgirl! Beautiful job! So glad that you are back! We missed you!
