Tulip Way

Happy Holly-Day Inspirational Friday!  I feel so great this morning.  It's my day off and I got to sleep in.  So I got a little catch up on my sleep and I still feel like I  have a whole day to do what I want!  Whooo Hooo!  I tend to stay up to late and sleep deprive myself all week long, lol.  I know, such a child.
Oh and it's payday!  And I worked extra on this paycheck.  I know where I am going Shopping!

Actually this is going to be a great weekend.   Guess who is coming to town to the LSS?  Yep, The La La Land Lady herself!  So I'm in workshops all day tomorrow!  Fun!!!  I love these cute little images as well and I love learning how other people put their own spin on creating.  It gets the mojo juices flowing and I love that feeling.

For today's card, I combined MFT Springtime Wishes with Magnolia Tulip Walkway.  I was not sure if the the scene stamps would work with my MFT gals, but they are PERFECT!  Thank God today is payday so I can pick up a few of them before you all run and grab them all up, lol.  Laura has a few of these scenes in her store, so I am so excited I decided to "try" it out.  When I first saw the tulip walkway scene,  I knew it would go perfectly with the Springtime Wishes Tulip gal.

Do you know how to put a scene with a stamp image?  First I inked up my Spingtime Wishes gal (with Memento Black Ink) and stamped her onto Copic Paper.  Then I inked her up again and stamped her onto scratch paper.  Where I work, vendors are always coming in and giving us sticky note paper with their logo on it.  So I just use these because they are all various sizes.  Then I fussy cut out the girl.  You don't have to be exact and I did not cut out the flowers or stems.  Then I put removable dotto on the scratch paper cut-out.  And then I inked up my Magnolia Tulip Walkway and stamped it on scratch paper.  And I hold it next to the MFT gal and get an idea where abouts I want to stamp this image over her.  I knew I wanted her feet about center with the walkway.  And then I reink it and ink it on top of the Springtime Wishes gal that is covered with fussy cut scratch paper.  Then I airbrushed and was careful around the ground border.  And then I remove the scratch paper and viola.  I have the perfect Outdoor Scene.  Then I colored with Copics, stamped the image onto paper and fussy cut out the dress and bow and glued them on with the best glue ever

I used this weeks sketch from MFT,  Echo Park Paper - Sweet Girl, and MFT Crown Border, that I added some pearls to the tops of the crowns and then added pearls to the top of the card.

I hope you have a great weekend and have a chance to play in our Challenge - The Great Outdoors.  And go shopping for borders and cute little images!!!

Thanks for Looking and your kind Comments.
