Motorcross Birthday
Hello Friends and Stampers,
Rarely ever will I do a requested card, lol. I'm really awful that way. I have to follow the path of the mojo and sometimes when I am asked to do a card, it puts me in a creative block. However, this time, I was asked to do a birthday card for a guy that really loves Motor cross. So I went to Google to look up motor cross and I had an Ah-Ha moment. Yes, indeed, I did have a stamp that would fit this perfectly. It's called "Extreme Dirt Bike" and it's a retired Stampin Up stamp that I didn't even have mounted....oh yes, I have many of these unmounted, waiting for one day to feel the love and warmth of ink, lol. I decided to get some Copic Markers out and my airgun and spray a bit of a background.
These were the pictures I found and so they were my muse. I also used Stampin Up retired Extreme Elements and the sentiment came from the retired set Best Dad Ever. Oh I know, I hate to see the perfect images I need for something only to find out they are retired! But sometimes you can find great retired stamps on SplitcoastStampers Buy/Sell.
What you can get still is the Memento Ink, the Copic Markers and the Celebrate Accent Die-Namics I used. And a whole plethora of fabulous crafts supplies available at Loves Rubberstamps!
Thanks for looking and have a fabulous day!
Holly
