I am so excited to be this months Guest Designer over at the Crazy4challenges blog. Yeah, I get to be one of the "Crazies"!!! This week we have a color challenge, here is the inspirational picture:
Stampin' Anne. So I took her fabulous card design and made it my own with the change of colors and stamps.
It was fun to rummage through my stash of Stampin Up papers to find this color combination. I used the sentiment from my Stampin Up, Word Play, which finally saw some ink! lol. The rest of my supplies in links above came from Loves Rubberstamps.
This was the last sheet of Tempting Turquoise I had and it was perfect for this card base. Next is a brushed Gold paper S.U. sold last Christmas. I used whisper white and an S.U. embossing folder on that. A few years back, S.U. had a Tropical Paradise paper that I loved and bought a couple lines of that, so I was sure to have some in my stash. I am not sure which peach this is, but it matched and so I used them, lol. I also had a hot pink from the retired line of S.U......Are you starting to get the hoarder picture here? lol. I used a couple circles of Gold Glitter Paper, (also from last Christmas) and Gold Sequins from S.U. The ribbon looks a bit yellowish in the picture, but in real life it is Gold and matches the brushed gold perfectly. I just love these little Fawn Lawn Bunnies and I plan on using them again and again. I felt the neck wrap brought the comfort and the bunny brought the joy.
Now I am in some great company here at C4C's, here is the line up:
