Shake that Post Box

Hi Friends and Stampers,

When I first saw this Post Box die and stamps, I fretted all the way til payday that they would sell out before I had the opportunity to buy them, lol. Sometimes you see something that makes the want bump explode! Does that ever happen to you? I see really cute stuff and I do want it, but then occasionally I just NEED some of the things I see.

I just love shaped cards and I just love this post box. The matching stamps and dies  are a perfect accessory to this post box. All made my Honeybee stamps. I have several of their stamp sets and I just love them all.

I had so much fun making these post box shaped cards. I belong to a stamping club so I went ahead and made a dozen of them. The first one to try out and get a sample of what I want it to look like and then the rest was assembly line which goes much quicker than the making of the original.

I really had no idea that Delicata Silvery shimmer ink works so well on colored card stock. I was originally thinking I would have to emboss the postal wavy lines with a heart on each of papers. But it worked like a charm and maintained the image. A lot of colored ink gets soaked up into the card stock. So this was a great surprise. I also used wink of stella for the stamps on the envelope. Sometimes you just need a little glitter here and there.

Do you ever get free sequins in your orders? I do occasionally and I keep them in my stash for just this occasion. Most of these sequins came from Kat Scrappiness in little "Thank you" samples. I would like to buy more sequin samples, but the drawer I use for these and other supplies is currently full to the brim, so I enjoyed using my stash for these.

This is also going to look really cute in a scrap page layout. I haven't quite got that design in my head yet, but I'm working on it.

I hope you get some snail mail love in your mail box soon.

Holly

Hi Holly! This is so cute; I can see why you needed the mail box die for your stash. ;-D Yes, I get little sequin samples sometimes; that's so nice of companies to send little extras.

Thanks a bunch for coming by to visit my blog this weekend. It was SO good to 'see' you again!! I've been out of the blogging world for much too long. Quarantine is a good time to get back in a bit. I seem to remember you are in the medical field...right? Thank you so much for your service. xoxo
