Jungle Fever

As per my usual, just getting this done tonight and uploaded late, lol.  I love this little image called prehistoric girl.  (Laura has this one preorder in her store!!!!) I found this great animal skin dp at the LSS and wanted to use it on my little girl.  Then I realized the print was too large for her little cloth.  So I bought some animal skin digi prints thinking I would use those, but as it turns out, I'm still very much an idiot when it comes to digi's.  I asked my DH for help and I got the encyclopedia version while his fingers danced around the keyboard and by that point, I was already lost.  lol.  So I just stamped the little paw prints on her and went around them a bit here and there with my copics.  Done.

I used my Hibiscus die-namics along with the vine boarder.  Laura has a TON of die-namics available by pre-order in her store, go check them out!  I found some great embossing folders at the LSS as well, animal skin print embossing, lol, by Darice.  Let's see, the real name on the label is Reptile.  I just grabbed some shades of brown and green that I thought would work and even made my own rock, lol.  So does it look like a Jungle? lol.

Okay frustration has been replaced by exhaustion and I have to get up in a few hours and do it all over again, so I will bid you a good-night and thank you so much for your kind comments!

Holly

Very creative take on the sketch! An absolutely fun card! She looks like she's out in the jungle. Got a good giggle about your comments on digis. I feel the same way about physical stamps!

This is so cute Holly! LOVE the homemade animal print! I think that it looks better than any ole digi stamp kind! We will be idiots together because as long as I don't have to try and resize anything I can use digi stamps. Anything outside of pull up the file, and click print...I am lost too - LOL!
