Sunshine Cowboy

This weeks Sparkle Creations Challenge is to make a card inspired by a song, "you are my sunshine, my only sunshine...."

And here is this weeks sketch over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.....

And this is what I am up with

My little Sparkle Creations cowboy is called Cowboy Josh.  I added a Sun die-namic as well as the cowboy hat die-namic.  The paper is Sasparilla by October Afternoon.  I love October Afternoon papers.  I have a bunch of them and they are timeless.  I love that I can come back to this pad every time I want a western card.  And a whole bunch of Making Memories mini brads!!!  My LSS stopped carrying these and now I need to find a new place to get them.  They are a little superior to the average brad and work so well on my project, I don't want to use anything else, lol.

I colored him with copics and like a dork, I put them away.  Being absent minded after the BLS renewal test today.  Brain is dead, tired of testing and glad that is all over with for another two years.  I also sponged around with Memento - Cantaloupe and Tangelo.  One of my favorite things to do, when I don't have time to airbrush.

I feel so great having done this card, I wasn't sure if I would have the time to make it.  Yippee.

Thanks for looking and for your kind comments.

Holly

Glad your testing is out of the way! Wonder what excuse I have for putting my copics away before writing down the colors:)
He's a cutie. Love how you've used the die cuts and of course your color looks wonderful.

He is so cute Holly! Love the sun behind the image panel! Congrats on getting the tests done! I can't enter my card as it's just an image and not a background. I'll check out the challenge and see if I can squeeze a card out. Have a fab weekend!
