Fresh as a Daisy

Has something ever reminded you of something else? Like a symbol for something? I really love this daisy die from sizzix but in white, it really reminds me of those Kotex commercials I used to see as a teen and get mortified over. lol. I am not sure if it resembled the trademark daisy or not, lol.
Anyway, I saw this card and had to make it. I had the colors and I wanted to finally use this daisy, lol.
Supplies: Baroque Motifs stamped in Versamark, and teeny tiny wishes both from S.U.
The squares are from a 11/4 glued onto 4X4 kraft, onto a so saffron base of 41/4x 41/4 and finally back on to white. I died that seam binding the same color as the cardstock squares - Marina Mist.
I had to go hunting for the "faux suede" technique. lol. It says you basically take your bone folder or the side of a table or a crimper and work the paper til it separates into two peices. take the center of the separated peice and it looks like suede. so that is how I made the leaf and the stem.
Thanks for looking! I've missed you all.
